Tibetain Monks

We did just get to participate in a interesting activity with 30 Seconds to Mars (a rock group). They had us over to their place to visit and record some of the monks chants. They were really wonderful and we had a great time with them. Geshe Kelsang (our chant master) came up with a chant that they may put into one of the songs on their new album so that was exciting. I will let you know if it makes it. Personally I was impressed with their commitment to environmentalism. Their last tour was a “green tour” and they have incorporated global warming awareness into their music videos. Here is the link to one – A Beautiful Lie. Nous venons juste de participer à une activité intéressante avec 30 Seconds To Mars(un groupe de rock). Ils nous avaient conviés à leur studio pour visiter et enregistrer quelques chants. Ils sont vraiment formidables et nous avons passé un super moment avec eux. Geshe Kelsang(notre maître de chant) a fait une chanson exclusivement pour leur nouvel album, c'était très excitant. Je vous en ferai part si cela se fait. Personnellement j'ai été impressionné par leur engagement pour l'environnement. Leur dernière tournée était une tournée verte et ils ont incorporé l'alerte sur le réchauffement climatique dans leur clip vidéo. C'était amusant de travailler avec eux et de discuter de l'avenir du monde.
